Philippa Pearson

Philippa's Bio

Philippa Pearson qualified as a solicitor in 1988 and has been specialising in Family Law since that time.  She was born and brought up in Worcestershire and after leaving school in Hagley went on to Trinity College Oxford where she studied law.  From Oxford she went to London where she was for many years a partner at the practice of Family Law in Partnership in Covent Garden.  Philippa has regularly appeared in the media and was for some time the legal presenter on Jeremy Vine’s Radio 2 show.

In 2004 having married and had children she moved back to her native Worcestershire and now works at Norris & Miles where she continues to specialise in Family Law including in particular divorce, financial matters (including high net worth cases), private Children Act cases, co-habitation, applications under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act (upon which she has written several books), pre-nuptial agreements and undertakes mediation for couples whose relationship is breaking down.

As a committed member of Resolution (formerly known as The Solicitors Family Law Association) Philippa subscribes to their code of conduct and therefore seeks to find solutions to the issues that arise out of family breakdown in as amicable and constructive manner as possible.
